We are well on our way toward having our office established, at 201 E. Grand Avenue, Suite 2B, at the corner of Grand and Kalmia above the Continental Deli.

The phone number to call if you wish to offer any type of assistance to victims of the fire in the greater Escondido area is (760) 746-FIRE. Use this same number if you know of any needs that are not yet being served.

The rebuild : escondido assistance center will be working with all available groups in the Escondido area to meet the needs of our community at this important time.

There is no limit to Escondido's potential to reach out to those who have suffered great loss, and to begin rebuilding our community.

In the immediate wake of the fires of October 2007, several Escondido-area citizens sought ways to help their neighbors---not only victims of the Witch Creek Fire in the Escondido area, but to serve as a regional resource to connect residents who have suffered loss with volunteers who have offered help. This is that effort--project rebuild : escondido.

We welcome many groups to the fold, in this effort to rebuild our community.
